GULI HONGDOU RESORT, formerly known as Biwushanzhuang, is located in Furong Village, Guli Town, Changshu City, Jiangsu Province. It has a long history from the late Song and early Yuan dynasties. GULI HONGDOU RESORT became sensationally famous by the poetry composed by Qianyi Qian and Rushi Liu, an affectionate couple who are well-known for their marriage with the big age gap.
As time goes by, GULI HONGDOU RESORT has undergone many vicissitudes and the historical buildings have all been destroyed, except for one red bean tree, which has survived tenaciously. To recreate the legendary romance between Qian and Liu, the local government and the Suqi Corporate Group have worked together on builting the GULI HONGDOU RESORT on the original site, with a number of celebrated entertainments and romantic areas implanted.
